Where Memories Last and Friendships Endure

In August 2017, Camp Nyoda will celebrate its 100th year as one of the oldest, traditional, all-girls camps in the United States. Family, friends, and alumni will travel from near and far to gather on the 'hills of Nyoda' for a weekend of camp activities, to reminisce with stories and songs, and recall the strength of friendship and Camp Spirit.

We are delighted to welcome you back to Nyoda and hope that you will join us this summer, August 18–20, 2017.

Weekend Schedule

Join us and relive your Nyoda memories! We know there is something for everyone! This list is not yet complete, and changes may be made before the actual event, but this is to give you an idea of the fun in store — and to help you decide when to come!

The weekend will be full of activities, events and moments of reflection. A display featuring Ginner's art — many landscape paintings of the spots at Nyoda we hold so dear — barge rides around the lake, a movie about the history of Nyoda, a jacks tournament, singing on the hill, and delicious meals which will allow you to linger and enjoy new friends. Bring your scrapbook, share pictures and catch up with old friends.

Centennial FAQ
Do I need to register if I am only stopping by on Friday or Saturday?
Yes, for insurance and our own number count, we need everyone to register.
If I do not register now, will there be an opportunity to register later in the spring or early summer?
Yes, of course. However, you may not get a spot in the bungalow.
Can I just call or email Peggy, Molly or Barb to register?
No, please register on line.
Can I register by mail and pay by check?
You need to register on line but you can send a check through the mail. Your registration will not be counted until the check is received.
Can I borrow /rent sleeping bags/tents from Nyoda?
No, we do not have sleeping bags or tents available.
Do I have to sign up for activities or can I just spend my time with friends?
You do not need to sign up for any activities. You can spend your time however you wish.
When will the on-line store be ready?
We will do a Facebook blast when it is ready. Check in with Facebook and this site.
Is there a possibility of staying on Sunday night?
No there is not. Nyoda needs to wind up its season and honor a reservation for Nyoda Hills.
I want to volunteer to help on the weekend. How do I do that?
We would love your help. Contact Cindi Curley Mitchell at cindi.mitchell@nyoda.com.
Do I need Blue and White for Council Fire and Chapel?
We would love it but it is definitely optional.
Can I bring my baby or young child and sleep in a bungalow?
For everyone's comfort and safety, babies and young children will not be permitted to sleep in the bungalows. All guests must be at least 18 years of age or a current camper.
Shall I bring my own food for my special diet? Where will I keep it?
Please call Peggy at 973-697-4382 to discuss special dietary concerns.
Can I bring wine or beer to have at the camp fire in the evening?
To honor Ginner's wishes, we request that no alcohol be brought to camp during the weekend. We are planning a toast during the celebratory dinner.
Are the registration packages the only choices? Can I alter them to fit my available time?
Sorry, no packages can be altered. In order to register you must pick one of the choices.
