Then and Now: Singing
By Anna Kupin

“Right thing to sing, singin´ is the thing, it brightens up your day so dark and dreary…”

What amazing things could our “Dear Old Grey Barn” tell us, if only she could speak? How many changes has she seen since that first summer, now more than 100 years ago?

But just as some things change, others remain startlingly the same – camp songs, and singing together, are just as central to the Nyoda Way in 2018 as they were in 1917. Of course, so are “marshmallow roasts”!

Take a look at this page from the 1922 Camp Nyoda brochure, and see for yourself!
